SOGGLE cardboards now made from recycled drinks cartons
We at SOGGLE – as passionate winter sports enthusiasts and mountain lovers – are constantly striving to make a measurable contribution to resource conservation. That is why we are continually developing our products and packaging with this in mind. We are therefore delighted to announce a new partnership and our support for an initiative in Sri Lanka, where our products are manufactured: from now on, the cardboards onto which our SOGGLE standard and vizor models are mounted, as well as the hangers for our SOGGLE headbands and necktubes, are made from 100% recycled beverage cartons*.
According to our production partner in Sri Lanka, beverage cartons are reprocessed for this purpose and used as raw material for new cardboard products. According to their information, this results in lower consumption of resources (trees, water, energy) and fewer air emissions compared to production using virgin fibre. Furthermore, through this new partnership, we are supporting the local people and fostering local value creation in Sri Lanka.
